Nov 28th 2006 3:34AM As far as I am concerned, US makret was pretty high on the priorities list for Vertu, so I am positive that Vertu made sure all new models have showed up there on time. What's absolutely strange is the price which is way over european one.
As for the crystal - surely, this 120ct is a big one. But it is raw as well. Vertu claims its 69.25ct piece to be the biggest [finished] piece of sapphire crystal. It's still fair then.

Nov 27th 2006 4:01AM Actually, the latest addition to the Vertu line-up is the Constellation collection, a quad-band slick and shiny mobile starting at mere €3500 and ending somewhere at €15000 for a yellow gold frame. As far as the European disitribution concerned, the Signature SS Duo is not being offered here anymore.
I believe Vertu was not offering its phones in the States for a while, so maybe you are just playing a catch-up?...
