CONFIRMED - Alfa returns to U.S. at end of 2009 with three-model lineup {Autoblog}
Oct 18th 2006 1:34PM I just returned from a trip to Italy, having driven an Alfa 159 1.9L turbo-diesel for over 2000km. WOW! Through the streets of Rome, along the autostrada to Florence and to Venice, down the Adriatic Coast, and all along the winding turns of the Amalfi Coast... it performed beautifully, handled amazingly well, and got terrific fuel mileage (kilo-ege?). I WANT ONE NOW!!
So if I buy one there, how much trouble will it be for me to retro-tune it so I can run it here? I have a wonderful Italian mechanic who works on my '83 Spider Veloce, but need help with the details on how to actually buy one & bring it back. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Slashfood Ate (8): Worst foods you can eat {Slashfood}
Jan 18th 2006 1:15PM I lost myself in comfort food for 15 years of a non-fulfilling marriage. It may be better to find out WHY you eat, as much as WHAT you eat. After shedding 225 pounds (the Ex!), I lost 45 by cutting everything I ate in half. No diet, no rash change, just portion control. That, and a 3 mile walk to clear my brain every day, and I am fit, happy and engaged to be remarried to a healthy jogger! Life is good.
I forwarded your list to my two teenage sons, in the hope that they will "see the light" when it comes to junk food. They think that McDonald's "chicken selects" are healthy!! Deep fried, and crunchy with breading - yuck! Half the portions + walking = good health! Mary
