Jun 16th 2010 11:38AM Well, I always lock the door when I shower no matter where I am but as "scary" as this scene is supposed to be if you watch REAL closely, he's barely touching her with the knife.
Yes, I know it was the 60's but now there would have been way more blood. This scene was chinsy compared to the remake with Vince Vaughen & Anne Heche.
You actually see the two stab/slashes in her back when she falls.
I'm not criticisng I'm just saying this is basically, tame compared to what we have out today.
But regardless, I still always lock the door when I shower & I also don't swim in the ocean anymore after "Jaws" so...there ya go.

Frankly, maybe coz I grew up in the 70's, the idjits that we have out now that after a while, frankly, nowadays, I can't tell if a song on the radio is by Kelly Clarkson, Lady Ga Ga, Rhianna, Beyonce or Amy Winehouse coz they all sound the same!
The singers of the 70's had their own unique way and for the ones who are still around and sound good (sorry I like Carly's voice on this)the ones of today could learn ALOT from them.

What Jodie does or doesn't do doesn't pay my bills. You can tell she's no idiot and she's stayed steady & true to herself. She isn't a walking train wreck like alot of these other "celebs" are..(i.e.)Amy Winehouse & Britney), talented people who seem to have thrown it all away and why is anyone's guess... You never saw Jodie act like them in public have you? I haven't...

I bet if anyone did some digging they'd find LOTS of skeletons in this kids closet.
Parent issues SCREAM out in the first one.
Personally, I'm not surprised that the school didn't do anything.
They won't coz all they care about is $$$$$ and making it for the school...and not for nothin' but counselors on campus are good for shit too...sorry..but my school was the same way.
Seems to me, this kid needed SERIOUS Psychiatric DAILY care and Prozac or whatever other kind of meds that are out there for a mental disorder or being bi-polar or whatever the hell he was suffering from.

Feb 19th 2007 12:26PM Frankly,I think the Oscars are a joke! Martin sheen happens to be a GREAT ACTOR ya'll! You try surviing in a cut throat business as long as he has and then come & comment!
I don't live with these people, and I'm not sure I'd want to as to a certain extent acting in itself is a bit schitsophrenic when you think about it, these people THRIVE on playing make believe people...
However, be that as it may I have nothing against it and part of me thinks maybe most of them don't care about being nominated. Maybe doing work that they're proud of and that the public likes is more important. I dunno..it's just an observation.
I mean Cher won one for Moonstruck coz she got snubbed for "Mask" let's face it, it was a shut up win and I'm a Cher fan, as much as that hurts me to say that it's the truth. Moonstruck was a cute movie but I still don't see where that deserved an Oscar. i was happy for her, don't get me wrong but that's how that business is. Phoney to the upteenth!
