Victoria's Secret Destroys Returned, Unworn Merchandise {Stylelist (Main)}
Apr 27th 2011 5:23PM They should donate them the unfortunate 46% of the population who pays no income tax every year ..... oh what am I thinking ...they can already afford them ...it is just me the middle class that pays taxes that can't afford them for my wife. Never mind, my Wife says she prefers the bargains elsewhere and to just donate them to the Mega Businesses like GE that pay no income tax or to the wives of some of the unions who are being given subsidies from our government in the Billions of dollars...no wait...my wife says back to my original suggestion, those union wives already shop a VS/SAKS/etc.
Ark Encounter Theme Park Announced {AOL Hot Searches}
Dec 3rd 2010 11:52AM I have to ponder why the ACLU (sometimes referred to as the Anti-Christian League of Atheists, for their stance on Christian Displays) can't occupy themselves with matters such as how can our elected officials, who serve the people (?) have automatic pay raises each year, when the populace they serve are suffering? It isn't as though anyone would be forcing attendence to such a park, it would be Freedom of Choice!
Luxist Giveaway: Shirts My Way Gift Certificate {Luxist}
Sep 13th 2010 2:36PM What the heck, why not enter. Until I was 18 my Parents decided what I would and could wear, then for the following 24+ years it was the United States Air Force who decided what I could and should wear. Then a major retailer who once again decided what I could wear. It is time I got to wear something I want and never had a "custom shirt" in my Life! At 62 it would be quite an experience!
Debate Over Ground Zero Mosque {AOL Hot Searches}
Aug 18th 2010 6:28AM My bigger questions are two: 1. Why there if it is not meant as a Victory display versus a true religious center and bigger yet is 2. Why was the Greek Orthodox Church REFUSED permission to rebuild their Church which once stood at ground zero for reasons that they (NY) don't want anything appearing Church like in the area but it IS OKAY for a Mosque with a golden dome to be on the site???? Why does one religious group suddenly get such special attention unless some pockets are getting lots of stuffing?
Musicians Unite for Arizona Boycott but Will It Have an Impact? {Spinner}
May 28th 2010 5:57PM Let me get this straight, people are going to BOYCOTT Arizona for passing a law less strict that the Federal law now on the books? Oh, the Feds aren't enforcing theirs. These so called intelligent band members should 1) read the law 2) Check Federal Law and lastly, check Immigration Laws for Americans in Mexico. Compared to their laws which THEY DO ENFORCE, our State and Federal Laws even if enforced would be a mild slap on the hand in comparison. The media is biased, the majority of what they report is slanted and no one takes time anymore to do their own research to separate fact from fiction...we have become lemmings marching to the sea...
Budget-Friendly Valentine's Day Gifts Under $30 {Shopping Articles Blog}
Feb 9th 2010 10:30AM My Wife is always quite unique in gifting and being a guy, not the easiest to just buy something that stands out. Last year to my amazement and delight, she had a gift from her to me, and from her to her (yes that is right), on opening mine on Valentine's day, I found a tee shirt with "I love my wife" printed on it, her self gift said, "I love my husband", though I gave her jewelry I think the tee shirts remain the most precious, and we wear them often, with pride.
The Evolution of Tinker Bell {Moviefone Blog}
Oct 18th 2009 10:29PM Since the Tinkerbell series seems to actually be prequels to her days with Peter Pan, it would, with the advances in animation, be a wonderous work to see the evolution of the Peter Pan work likewise being modernized in the same fashion via PIXAR.
Verizon customer service not so good at math {WalletPop}
Feb 5th 2009 5:26PM Factually the rate is 2 thousands of 1 dollar versus 2 thousands of a cent per kb. $.002. Had it read $.00002 it would have been 2 thousands on a cent. Wonder if I will get a discount of free phone from Verizon for explaining? Good Grief, they may even offer me a job as part of the Stimulus Bill.
Belichick Should Have Stayed on the Field {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Feb 4th 2008 6:43AM Ah come on now. He was frustrated and annoyed that his team had let him down. He never stopped to think about how things had gone his way in several close games that the Pats could have always lost. The better team on the field won...period. MORE amazing is that before the season even began, of all people, my MOTHER predicted that the SuperBowl would be between the Giants and the Patriots....and that the Giants would win. Alot of people rolled their eyes, thought she was daft indeed......don't bother, I have already asked her to share her feelings for next year...with no smirk on my face. Great job Giants, the whole team. As to the Pats, they played a good game, the breaks just weren't in the cards for them this time.
Jim Brown Thinks Tiger Woods Is Too 'Politically Correct' {Fanhouse Golf Blog}
Jan 24th 2008 7:14PM Good Grief. He was just saying Tiger was hard to beat. If he had said "Lock him in a closet" someone would have decided that the usage meant he was Gay or Bi.
It obviously wasn't intended as a Racial put down and I am glad that Mr Woods at least is astute enough to realize it was a compliment.
Jim, you have made a few gaffs and unpopular stances, but I can't say it is a case of the pot calling the kettle.....someone would make an issue of that. You ought to talk to Mr Woods...better yet...JUST USE COMMON SENSE! TIGER "IS" a GREAT player and "IS" hard to beat. You stand a better chance of winning if he isn't on the players list. Do you get it now?????
Way to go Tiger!
