To destroy any of his creations is to destroy humanity. Wright was the thinker, the epitome of human creation. I have seen one of his houses in Kansas City, and was in awe of what the human mind could create. I look at my city's downtown architechtre and think: Ellsworth Toohey was right: people worship mediocrity. Would that I had been born in 1842 instead of 1942; I would have seen and experienced some of the greatest minds in history. Now, we have no great minds....only politicians grubbing for votes. Sick.

Jun 14th 2011 5:27PM This is how MADD got started, now thousands of one-time drinkers-while-driving have their lives ruined. How about sealing your baby up in a plastic bubble until she's 21? Accidents happen. This country has gone lawsuit-crazy. When I was a kid, my neighbor's kid whacked me on the head with a stick. After stitches, my mom told the kid's mother, keep him away from my son, or I'll punch your lights out. That was the end of it. Some Ferris wheels go to 200' in the air. If you don't want your kid hurt, don't put 'er on it! My gawd, is the government supposed to hold our hand every time something happens? How about banning ferris wheels? Or automobiles? Motorcycles? Bicycles. All of them kill more than ferris wheels by 10,000 to one. Boats...don't forget boats.
