Dec 22nd 2010 6:11AM Congratulations to Roger Federer for his win.I enjoyed the match, but felt that Nadal was stronger than Federer, despite the final outcome. To my eyes, Nadal wasn't quite giving it his all (he had some peculiar "footwork" problems). It left me with the impression that Nadal was holding back some of his energy, perhaps so that he could win more easily in Madrid today in front of his home crowd.
Of course, if Federer beats Nadal in Madrid, I will be proven mistaken!Very charming of both Nadal and Federer to be doing these matches.Have there ever been two more likable top athletes in any sport?
