Mar 28th 2011 3:44PM People, everyday wild animals are put down due to being a hazaard to humans. Yes, we invade their land, yes we've taken up much of their space. But it's LIFE. And Life sucks. Everyone, human and animal, meets it end. Some, ends peaceful, some ends not so much, as in Fred's case here. He is not the only animal that got put down. Everyday wild animals are slain. Everyday shelter animals are slain, meat animals are slain, fur bearing animals are slain, pets are slain. It's life. Life's beautiful but also hideous. Face reality. You can't save every soul in this world. We all die somehow, someway.

The grass-nibbler should've asked for a vegitarian tray. If she didn't, then it's not the flight attendant's fault. By what I read, 98% of people in the world consume meat. Therefore, the attendant didn't even know if this passenger was a vegitarian and assumed that she had the regular omnivore diet most people have.
Vegitarians like this are an absolute disgrace. To me, many come off as snobbish and downright disrespectful, as with this case. I've known decent vegitarians (very little do I come across a decent one), and I've met hippie radicals who say that they'll eat a human baby over a cow. I'm a carnitarian (eating healthy meats only. Not processed crap, and I do rarely eat some fruit to avoid scury) due to gluten intolerance. I'm a vegan's/vegitarian's worst nightmare, but I do respect vegitarians that are decent. My best friend in my hometown is a vegitarian :) and we get along perfect.

Dec 15th 2010 9:51PM Stop baaaawing over slaughtered animals people, it's nature, we can freaking eat them all we want, I know I do and I love it, plus they all die, everything dies, why baaaw over life? This chick is cool kudos to her for having the guts to eat what you people are too wussy to eat. Give me a guinea pig or live shrimp any day, yummy :P
