Nov 22nd 2010 11:25AM My favorite Christmas memory is actually a tradition. Now that I am eighteen it is less magical then it was when I was a kid. Actually, it has completely lost it's magic for me but I can still see the spark in my little cousins eyes. Christmas Eve would bring me the worst sleep ever. I think I would wake up on the hour every hour until about 7 am when I would finally get my parents to get up. But then came the tourture (and tradition) that my parents would "sneak" into the family room to make sure Santa had gone and finished putting together our gifts and arranging Christmas. I thought it was torture back then but looking back it provided the magic that Christmas was supposed to have. "Was it possible that Santa was in my house?" I would think. My parents went through so much effort to make sure Christmas was perfect and I can't thank them enough for keeping the spirit alive in our house. My dad has always talked about getting a noble fir but being from Florida we don't really get them.
