White House Value Climbs During President Obama's First Term {AOL Real Estate}
Jan 20th 2013 12:44PM The White House is priceless. Comparing it to similar structures in greater D.C. is meaningless.
Still? Chelsea Handler Pokes Fun at Kirstie Alley's Weight {PopEater}
May 13th 2011 12:33AM I know who Kirstie is, but... Chelsea who?
Roger Ebert Gets Fired Up Over 'Huck Finn' Censorship, Then Apologizes {PopEater}
Jan 7th 2011 3:04AM This is a great idea. Now let's do the same thing to all the rap recordings. We can "fix" all the art forms!
Sounds pretty scary, doesn't it? Censorship is never a good idea, always a slippery slope.
Tasting Notes on 200-Year Old Champagne Salvaged From Baltic {Luxist}
Dec 4th 2010 8:49AM Um... the foaming is because CO2 in solution is coming out when the pressure drops after the bottle is opened. The yeast is long dead... the alcohol from the seconary fermentation after bottling kills it off.
Also, does anyone else find it interesting that exactly one bottle of each bevarage happened to pop open on board the salvage ship on its way in? Hmmmm.
Southwest Boots Thin Flier for Overweight Teen {AOL Travel News}
Sep 17th 2010 4:25PM Southwest makes larger fliers buy two seats. If the teen did not fit in one seat with the armrest down, Southwest made him pay for both of them. Look it up under the Southwest "Customers of Size" policy on their web site.
Fox Upping the Music for a Week {AOL TV}
Apr 8th 2010 10:53AM I am with you! Slamming a Toyota commercial in the middle of exposition was jarring.

Bob Dylan Banned From Playing in China {Spinner}
Apr 5th 2010 1:14PM China should not censor art or journalism, even if it's terrible, off-key art performed by an Alzheimer's patient pretending to have Huntington's like Woody Guthrie had.
'Burn Notice' Gets a New Regular Cast Member {AOL TV}
Mar 10th 2010 11:50AM Look on the bright side. If it had been Ted McGinley, BN would have been doomed. (I understand McGinley is an okay guy, but he is like the universal signal that a series has jumped the shark.)
Catholic Preschool Boots Child Because Parents Are Lesbians {Politics Daily}
Mar 8th 2010 7:45PM The school's argument only works if they will exclude students whose parents are divorced or using birth control, both of which are against Catholic dogma as well. How about parents who haven't been to confession or taken communion in years? The school would be empty.
The Wrong Watch and Other Random Reasons You're Not Getting a Job {AOL Jobs}
Feb 17th 2010 4:30PM This would be why I have trouble finding meaningful work even though I have an MBA and I write quite well. Some flashy blonde who doesn't know the difference between "their" and "there" and who doesn't know how to write coherently got the job.
