I've noticed this mistake a lot when visiting the USA. They tend to ask: "where are you from" than I answer: "Amsterdam" and they'd reply: "ow, how's Denmark these days".
I get that you can't tell all of Europe apart, as I can't tell all of America apart.
I just wonder why Denmark and the Netherlands get mixed up.
