Dec 31st 2010 2:19PM Great story--thanks for marking this milestone! Kodachrome has been a big part of my life both for recording it and a then taking my own photos.
Oct 24th 2010 4:12PM I agree that some sort of oil works the best. I've even had luck with spray olive oil. Especially useful if you have kids leaving finger marks every five minutes. I have also used a product made for stainless steel that seems a lot like spray oil. I tried a number of products when trying to keep stainless steel appliances looking great in order to sell a house! Some stainless appliances now come with a finish that cuts down on fingerprints. Would check instructions for those before using anything other than water and cloth!
Oct 24th 2010 4:05PM Aren't Halloween, Dia de Muertos and All Souls Day related celebrations? Great list but not sure these all are alternatives to Halloween--maybe different ways of celebrating related annual markers? Anyone know more about this?
Oct 24th 2010 4:01PM I'll have to keep this information from one young woman I know very well! She's obsessed with Hello Kitty and fortunately there are enough outlets for Hello Kitty stuff to keep her fully occupied. A whole theme park. . .?!
Oct 24th 2010 3:49PM I grew up hearing about adventures like this from an uncle who had did this journey in the 1960s. It's great to see that some people still have the stamina to take it on. I don't think I'd like the time challenge--would want to see where I'd been!
