Charlie Sheen's Goddesses Are Insulting to Women Everywhere {PopEater}
Mar 3rd 2011 12:04AM These girls are making their own choices. "Rach" is actually Rachel Oberlin, aka Bree Olson, one of todays most prolific porn stars. It's not like she's really hurting for money. She's made several appearences on various TV shows.
Hey, if you were in his shoes, I'm sure you'd have the girls there too. Knowing who they are, you can say what you want about them. But if you knew two gals identical to these two, but without the notoriety, you'd say that they were hot.
But Charlie should quit the rock. That will do him in, if he keeps going at the rate he already is.
TRANSLOGIC 41: CES 2011, GM EN-V {Translogic}
Feb 13th 2011 9:32PM Well, you really won't need separate lanes on the surface streets in the city. You will outside of it, though, as these obviously can't be ran on the freeways, given their 25-mph max. speed. You won't be able to cross from NYC into NJ with these, as every crossing of the Hudson is an expressway. But a thought would be a vehicle ferry or rail service for that, which would connect surface streets on both sides.
Also, you would still have to park these in the city, but three would fit into a space for a conventional auto, even a compact space. Only problem with that would be, if you were parked on the inside, you'd have to contact the others to move their vehicles before you could move yours. But it probably would be cheaper per vehicle.
Yes, there would have to be a few adjustments made to the infrastructure to make these viable for the masses. But thinking like this needs to be promoted and encouraged, not criticized and discouraged. Otherwise, we're stuck with SSDD (Same ..er.. Stuff, Different Decade).

Feb 13th 2011 5:58PM Also keep in mind that this is a city-use vehicle. It is not intended for long trips. It would also make it practical for megaopolis (NYC, Chicago, LA, London, Tokyo) dwellers to rent storage garages or parking spaces for their conventional cars outside of the city (as long as charging is available there for the EN-V while it's parked) for much cheaper than what it would cost for a space in the city.
You'd have to put up with the minor inconvenience of riding in the EN-V with your luggage on your lap while you're commuting to your conventional car, which would be used for the journey.
And, as for groceries, shop alone, and transport the groceries in the passenger seat.

Feb 13th 2011 4:20PM Well, I can spot all the "righties" by their disdain for this cool idea. Hopefully this idea can be further developed. And for the Alaskan poster, these are not meant for use in Alaska, unless Anchorage grows to the size of NYC or LA.
And just think, if these vehicles are capable of piloting themselves, drunks can use them, as they wouldn't be in actual control. They just merely push the pre-programmed "Home" button, and off they go, safely! Maybe they should be equipped to buzz loudly upon arrival home, so to wake up the drunk who passed out on the way.
For goodness sakes, righties! Can't any of you have an open mind about anything that you're not used to seeing everyday?
