SBXL: Nissan XTERRA - "ShowUsYourX" {AdJab}
Dec 30th 2010 12:26AM All four Xterra models are available in four-wheel drive, and all but the Off-Road edition are available with rear-wheel drive. The Xterra makes a lot of sense as a 4x4, as it offers 9.5 inches of ground clearance and an approach angle of more than 33 degrees. The available four-wheel-drive system is a part-time, off-road-oriented setup, with high and low ranges. Additionally, several features that are included with the optional stability control system, such as Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist, use electronics to help maintain poise in precarious situations.

TRANSLOGIC 20: Chevy Volt Test Drive {Translogic}
Dec 23rd 2010 12:28AM The electric car incentive applies to ALL electric cars, not just the Volt. Its not a made for GM incentive and I didn't hear you complaining when tens of thousands of Toyotas were purchased partially because they qualified for hybrid incentives. Why is it everyone has a problem with electric car tax rebates only when a Chevy qualifies? I supposed you only approve of subsidies when they benefit cars imported from Japan.

Russian Billionaire Launches Hybrid Cars {Luxist}
Dec 22nd 2010 4:18AM Hybrid cars contain a very unique experience for the driver. These cars contain two different motors under the hood: both a gas motor and an electric motor. Having these two motors allows the car to run more smoothly on the road. These two motors work together to make the best driving experience available for the rider.

Second Drive: 2011 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid {Autoblog}
Dec 20th 2010 5:16AM Hyundai Motors first foray into the midsize family sedan bracket was with the Hyundai Sonata and well, way back in 1989, the general car buying public in North America didn’t take kindly to it. It lacked quality interiors, had weak engines and overall a cheapness associated with Hyundai small cars.

Review: 2010 Volkswagen Golf TDI delivers potent one-two punch of efficiency and entertainment {Autoblog Canada}
Dec 17th 2010 1:02AM Rented one in France last week. Drove 2800km - diesel averaged 50.6 miles per US gallon on mix of autoroutes, tiny village lanes and country roads. Drives extremely nice and accelerates well, but I stalled the engine easily by forgetting to push in clutch or downshift. Lots of comfortable room for 4 maybe 5. Good trunk. Nice features on rental were parking assist and rain-sensing wipers.
