BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider coming next month as an AT&T exclusive? {Engadget}
May 14th 2010 2:03PM My ATT 9000 with its 128MB of RAM and 4.6 OS is getting very long in the tooth. I am ready for an upgrade, and the 9700 is just a bit too dainty. A slider with a touchscreen, keyboard and 6.0 is exactly what I want. Serve it up.
Philips' new LED light bulbs are brighter, more efficient, not cheap {Engadget}
May 13th 2010 8:41AM Same efficiency and energy savings as a CFL, which costs $1.35. I thought LED was supposed to provide another leap in efficiency over CFL?
2012 GT500 to feature 500 horsepower, twin-turbo "Coyote" V8, or not? {Autoblog}
Oct 1st 2009 1:55PM The earlier Cobra's had alumnium 4.6 block, but these were replaced with iron blocks when they started to supercharge them. The aluminum blocks (apparantly) could not handle the power reliably. As pointed out, in addition to the iron block, the GT500 weight is addded by the supercharger, intercooler, extra belts, forged heavy duty rods and pistons, extra cooling fluids, bigger transmission, cooling systems, bigger brakes, bigger wheels and tires, etc. etc. etc.
Tivo and Netflix: Another useless video product {BloggingStocks}
Oct 30th 2008 8:34AM There is a market for movies other than the most recent blockbuster drivel. This is what drives the Netflix model: choice, choice and choice. I have been an avid Netflix user for many years, and will continue to do so. The coax will reattach to my house only when I am gone. Also satellite will have to deliver on demand over the internet, as it already does. A Netflix, TIVO, DirecTV partnership would go far against cable.
Rendered Speculation: how will you tune the Camaro? {Autoblog}
Sep 5th 2008 1:52PM That is not a tune. That is pimping. A tune makes the car go faster, handle better, or stop shorter. That crap does nothign useful.

Palm Treo 800w revealed? {Engadget}
Oct 24th 2007 11:00AM Thick? Maybe. I beleive the Treo 755 is the thinnest touchscreen device on the market with a full keyboard. It is easy to be thin without a touchscreen. Only the iPhone is slimmer with a touchscreen.
Teardown reveals iPhone parts cost two bills {Engadget}
Jul 2nd 2007 5:05PM What about:
R&D
corporate overhead
marketing
advertising
sales
AT&T's cut
software
distribution
Parts are just a small part of a product's cost to deliver to the consumer.
CodexNovus unveils HDcodex 1080p media "server" {Engadget}
Jun 19th 2007 1:42PM I think for $5,000 I will take a fully featured and networked HTPC with DVD and HDMI plus a 2TB RAID 5 media server from Infrant.
