Thursday and Long: Enough Already With the Jaguars {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Dec 11th 2009 10:37AM The Jaguars are a young team, half filled with rookies and new guys to the roster. The fact that they are a playoff wildcard contender should say something about their grit, determination, and the fact that the future indeed looks bright for a team who was expected to be in the toilet this season. Maybe they have lucked their way into the playoff hunt, but unlike some of the other teams out there (like my other beloved team, the Chicago Bears), the Jaguars are actually doing a good job rebuilding.
Greed Reigns With NFL's Blackout Policy {Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti}
Sep 2nd 2009 8:02PM Jacksonville LOVES the Jaguars; the rest of Florida doesn't give a flying flip about them. And while I'm a Jags fan, I can't help but wonder why they allowed another NFL team in Florida when there are already the Bucs and Fins. But please make no mistake - just because we can't afford the tickets doesn't mean that we don't love our Jaguars.
Jaguars' New Uniforms Announced {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Apr 26th 2009 10:31AM Geez, these do look like the Eagles' uniforms, except they're TEAL instead of that weird green color. The helmets look great - black with a teal metallic shimmer.
A Sign of Tough Times, Paris Pawn Shops Accepting Wine {Luxist}
Mar 30th 2008 4:06PM Excuse me, but didn't the French help the colonies defeat the British, so that we could become the USA??
Borders goes digital {BloggingStocks}
Feb 18th 2008 3:37PM Amazon.com is great for finding speciality books. I have children with autism, but can find very few titles about the subject at Borders or Barnes & Noble. Amazon has lots of selections and user reviews of each book. Plus for purchases of $25 or more, you get free shipping. If I want a bestseller, I usually go to Costco or some other discount place. And I've never been to a Borders with computers for customers to use themeselves to locate books. They're always at a CS area without any people manning the station.
Fred Taylor Almost Fell Out of a Plane {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
May 17th 2007 4:13PM I don't care how high off the ground or how common it is - if the plane door pops open, I'm going to freak out. I'm glad Fred made it back to help take the Jags to the Superbowl this season.
Jaguars' Khalif Barnes Calls Cop 'KKK Devil' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Mar 22nd 2007 9:40AM Jax may be somewhat of a hick town, but no one should ever have to question Jacksonville residents' loyalty to the Jaguars. This town bleeds teal...and a little blue and orange, but mostly teal.
Why Wal-Mart is losing to Target {BloggingStocks}
Oct 31st 2006 2:53PM My biggest complaint about Walmart is that their aisles are always blocked with skids of merchandise or shopping carts full of stuff that needs to be stocked. The place is just trashy. Their merchandise is of lower quality than Target's as well, but their grocery selection is much better.
