May 14th 2013 10:37AM I'm sorry Larry, but wherever you did your research on pilot salaries was wrong. $15-17K is barely above minimum wage and common sense (plus their lifestyle) refutes them living actually living below the poverty level. Also, while I am not a Republican, blaming them for everything bad that happens is getting old. If your report about pilot salaries is true, why haven't the Democrats changed it? They've been in office for five years. (By the way, two of the guys my husband plays golf with are retired pilots. I've seen their houses and they weren't built on $17k a year!)
