Mar 29th 2011 10:20AM The detail on this gun is truly amazing. Just think of the craftsmenship that went into this. It seems Viggo has an eye for detail. Not much of a gun person, myself. We own them, we shoot them. We live in the country...but I can appreciate the beauty even in this oblect.
Chicago Stressed Out, Miami Super Chill {Rented Spaces}
Oct 22nd 2009 3:09PM I hrew up 60 miles outside of Chicago, and live in Tennessee now. Boy did I ever laugh when I read this, because it is the truth. I am amazed when we go visit our family up there because it's like watching a live race!
The Smartest (and Least Smart) Cities in the U.S. {Gadling}
Jun 2nd 2007 9:44AM Doesn't this mainly concentrate on the general population of an area? Think about it...Of course certain cities are going to rank lower. Look at the environment, and the lack of help and opportunities for young people. I do believe that living environment can play a role in a person's ability to obtain a good education. Do you think that all of the "mexican" population has anyone who cares enough to help them by setting up the fundamentals in order for them to obtain a degree? No, most of them are still struggling to make ends meet because they can hardly speak and english. If we are all americans living in this country the same educational prospects should be avilable in all areas. In some areas opportunity is just luck...the key word here is perserverence and determination. That is what gets you a degree. After all it is just a piece of paper at the end of the day, what matters is the individual. The person is the one who makes the choice or makes a differnce in how to apply the degree.
Chinese Shish Kebabs {Gadling}
Jan 8th 2007 11:13AM Can you imagine what kind of "fear factor" show they could intorduce in China?...guarenteed to make Americans squeamish! HA HA!
Japanese hospital sets up "hatch" for babies {ParentDish}
Nov 10th 2006 5:39PM How about they install birth control "hatches" first? Prevention to the situation always seems to be overlooked by governments-regardless of what country it is!
Why Wal-Mart is losing to Target {BloggingStocks}
Oct 31st 2006 3:47PM No one likes to go to the store because it takes up time! However, if I can stop at one place and do ALL the things on my list that's where I'll shop. Where else can you get groceries, medicine, feed the kids Mcdonald's or Subway (if need be), get a hair cut,and an oil change? Gas is to high to make unnecessary trips!
Wal-mart may need to make some adjustments-but what company doesn't?
What to avoid giving out for Halloween {Slashfood}
Oct 28th 2006 10:07AM I still think giving out drinks is really a neat idea for those thirsty trick or treaters. Kids love fruit snacks though so we usually stick with Life saver gummies,they always go over well. (Smarties were always the left over candy we had until Christmas in our house!...but go figure my son loves them!)
