Its the pain and misery that he caused that is the point. He enjoyed causing those animals pain. I don't believe they deserve to die, but I also admire someone willing to try to stop it. If nothing else appeals to the man who was so upset---remember that it costs you because things are over priced, so the extra insurance is charged to you every time you buy something.
