Sony "in talks" with Microsoft about a Xbox 360 Blu-ray drive {Engadget}
Mar 6th 2008 6:12PM I notice that every single time there's a Blu Ray discussion whether be news, rumors (with and without legs) or agitation to those who love the dead inferior HD-DVD format, Sony is always mentioned as if they were the SOLE OWNER of the whole BD Camp. Dont get me wrong, I'm pro Blu Ray since the begining. But this assumption that Sony owns the Blu Ray Disc consortium has gotta stop. They are only a fonding MEMBER, not owner.
Apple applies for trademark protection on gaming devices {Engadget}
Feb 10th 2008 8:59PM What name will Apple choose; i-game? i-box, i-failure or i-sucks. My money is on i-sucks. Just like every pathetic sub-culture piece of "I" technology sh!t they put out.
Sharp's 46/42/37-inch AQUOS X series grabs world's thinnest title {Engadget}
Jan 24th 2008 6:32PM Hmm.... the X-series has it's pros and cons for me.
Pro: Fairly thin. 1.35" is not Paris Hilton slim but it's somewhat sexy.
Pro: Separate media box reciever is back! this time cordless.
Pro: 8-3-way speakers, yowza!
Con: Black is NOT Gloss Black so I'll pass on these and any other brand that thinks Matte Black is "stylish".
Con: Oddly designed stand. Reminds me of the first ILO LCD TVs sold at Wal-Mart 2-years ago. They could had copy Panasonic and Hitachi's forklift design from 2005/2006.

Jan 14th 2008 9:35PM Oh, those Japs. Stupid as always. I wonder who they stole that from??? Since we are in the ridiculous page of insanity why not make it 1,000-inches diagonally, self-powered, and only 3mm thick!
Imbeciles! They **think** they have the world in their yellow hands.
Eyes-on with Panasonic's 1-inch thin plasmas {Engadget}
Jan 7th 2008 9:23PM I'll belive it when I see them with price$ on them at the local retailers. Hitachi's thin LCDs have more chances of that since they ARE coming this spring.
