Manly-Man Gifts for Dad {Shopping Articles Blog}
Jun 6th 2011 10:13AM So disgusting! "What's a man without a beer? A man who needs a beer! STAT!" Even pitiful to equate beer with being a man but that's the mantra the industry has been foisting on society since man began targeting the young sprout who can't wait to go binge drinking to prove he's a man...man, that's sick. There is not one drug that has disrupted more lives, broken up more marriages, killed more people than the "man's" drink BEER! I know I'm whistling in the wind as I am comfortable in my own skin, enjoy life to the fullest without having to ask "Am I having a good time" or needing a designated driver which is proof that one has a problem. Yep, PEPSI for me and no DUI's!
Halle Berry Talks About Custody Battle for Her Daughter {PopEater}
Apr 20th 2011 10:24PM Halle is a beautiful, talented woman PERIOD! Those who appreciate beauty and talent appreciate a beautiful, talented woman as Halle and don't give a rip of how she came about...she is!...just enjoy her or any person without playing the RACE CARD!!!!!!! Geez, some of these posters are so pitiful in their shallowness! Let's hope they don't procreate while thankfully realizing they may never be given the chance. May Halle have her problem resolved as painlessly as possible. Oh, and it should be "her" not "she and her ex-etc.! Joy and Agape'
Qantas Flight Loses Pressure, Drops 26,000 Feet {AOL Travel News}
Jan 26th 2011 3:25PM I think people like Rico would probably deserve but never have received what they term "nasty" treatment by airline personnel and security "thugs" as they more than likely act like "nasty thugs" in their dealings. Having flown many miles on many different airlines domestic and abroad, I have always found if you show respect and restraint in any situation it will be returned. It's a matter of breeding, manners and class, Rico et al.
McDonald's Happy Meal didn't decompose after six months {WalletPop}
Oct 13th 2010 4:09PM Frank...I realize that in this nation of ours cyclists are mandated the same "rules of the road" as a motorized vehicle; however, I still maintain and often spout off about it, that bikers riding with traffic are hazards especially on busy highways, streets and particularly on curves. In my opinion, which I value highly, there is a growning arrogance with bikers that they own the road and by so doing are getting killed in alarmingly increasing numbers. I may be wrong, but I have heard that many European countries have bikers riding facing traffic and respecting the fact that a hundred pound body on a twenty pound bike is no match for a two-ton flying hunk of metal and plastic. I used to ride a bike as a kid all over my world, clips on my pants legs, a playing card clicking on the spokes, no helmet, the wind in my hair, a smile on my face and looking at things coming toward me and getting out of dangers way. You couldn't get me on a bike today except in a bike park...which, of course, would be the answer to those addicted to this mode of status travel and exercise. Yep, a sarcastic at times anti-cyclist until they change the "rules of the road". I do wish for you safe cycling, regardless, but watch out for a 2006 Black Lexus ES 330 on curves as I may not see you in time! Joe joepinner.com
McDonald's Happy Meal didn't decompose after six months {WalletPop}
Oct 13th 2010 3:16PM I'm 75 plus a few months...never been operated on...have everything I came with save a few teeth...still working on the air marking 60 plus and the last day of work I missed was in Dec. of 1969...had a boil, sorry, on my right facial cheek and had to call in "sick"...missed Christmas party that night. Upset stomach twice since maybe the forties...play golf badly...pretty good at softball/baseball and generally stay very busy and loving it...while loving McDonalds, Hardees, Wendys, Burger King over much of my life, so that would be for a ton of years and I'm only a few pounds overweight. O.K., point of order...open your mouth and order a Hardee'sThickburger, McDonald BigMac, Wendys Spicey Chicken or Burger King Whopper on occasion and for you gourmands shut your condescending mouth and live. Oh, and for you vegans...the word "vegetarian" comes from an old Indian word meaning "lousy hunter"! And while I'm at it, Spandex posteriored cyclists, please pedal facing traffic and get out of the way when it approaches. Safety first, donchaknow! Joy and Agape'...Joe
4 Reasons to Love Milk {Kitchen Daily}
Aug 21st 2010 3:45PM Ah, milk is the nectar of the gods. Am 75...never been operated on...have everything I came with, save a few teeth and perhaps "performance" issues...not severe...still employed in television play softball, golf and enjoy the gym..and have enjoyed the magnificent taste of milk so far in my years and look forward to many more. Even enjoy a cold glass of milk balanced back and forth with a glass of merlot. Wife thinks I should not mention that...ever; however, the third taste is quite rewarding. Taste is in the buds of the absorber, I suppose, and milk has served me well. To all the "experts" and scientific researchers, wail on with your opinions and sometimes snotty retorts, while I enjoy a cold one...glass of milk, that is. Joy and agape'...Joe "Knozit" Pinner
What Will Howard Do? Stern's Contract Up in Six Months {PopEater}
Jul 10th 2010 11:29AM The "Yup" poster attempting to make a valid point about Stern's popularity with "18 million payed listeners" makes one shudder to think that so many in our society follow the filth Stern churns. One also has to wonder what kind of parents some of them may be. Again, shudder to think. Joy and agape'...Joe

Hank Jones, Legendary Jazz Pianist, Dead at 91 {Spinner}
May 17th 2010 4:33PM Have you heard Mr. Jones?...oh yeah! Started dj'ing in 1950 playing a ton of jazz by the "greats" who were everywhere during that true "golden age" of music. I always would include the names of the sidemen "backing up" the main stars with the big names such as the Brubecks, the Kentons, the Gillespies, the Garners, the Previns, the Coltrains and the list goes on and on and on...and the passings of these supporting stars many of whom went on to gain some greater recognition fame like Hank Jones go on and on and on but thank God their sounds will also go on and on and on..............if those of us who love the genre keep it and them alive. Thanks Hank...Joe Pinner
