They have been ruling the USA like dictators while always blaming everyone else for their failures....like the so-called "democratically controlled" congress....a majority by one vote, but continually vetoed by Bush. No two-thirds majority to overrule the veto....so it's WHOSE fault again????

Sep 15th 2008 9:35PM I hope it is true that our government has finally said no to bailing out these fools. They should have to take responsibilty for their actions the last few years and I only hope that they feel some of the pain they have caused all the people they have hurt.What comes around, goes around and I am sick...as a working American.... of seeing my tax dollars going towards preserving the lifestyles of unscrupulous people and businesses that operate without conscience. If I could ask anymore it would be that those same executives who are losing their jobs might be prosecuted and left to rot in jail for their greed and lack of morals.

Sep 13th 2008 8:25AM As the father of a twelve year old girl, I must say that I felt the same way that most of you do....though I could never stand 90% of the Beatles' music. Recentlt though I brought my kid to one of the Jonas Brothers concerts and, though, I expected the worst, I was actually quite impressed. The musicianship was good, the lightshow and production some of the best I've seen....and I've been to ALOT of concerts, and you could tell that they genuinely take their status as role models and their fans very seriously. They are a good bunch of guys....still young and a little unpolished, but that is something that only time and age will bring them. Who remembers the Beatles when they first came out? These guys would blow them away....hands down, but then again it was a totally different time and the Beatles were innovators with a completely new sound and much less to draw from musically. Will the Jonas' reach their heights....No...but then again I don't believe they think that way....and in the lip-synching, talentless (mostly anyway) music industry today they really ought to be appreciated for who and what the are and given the credit they deserve.

Jun 19th 2008 7:42AM I, too, had an account with Charter One/Citizens Bank and they truly are the worst of the worst. To say they are nothing but crooks and liars is a HUGE understatement. It would take several pages to list all of their thefts but one really stands out. They once sent me an ATM card (which I rarely use) but it wouldn't work when I tried to use (said I had the wrong PIN). I called their national customer service number and was told it was for my OTHER account. I informed that I only had one account but he went on to tell me that I had opened up a checking account with TEN dollars, had written several checks...even told me where I had written some of them.....and that the account had been closed because of overdraft fees when they bounced....though it had been cleared up later on and there was now a zero balance. I asked for statements, copies of the documents to open the account and was told that I would have to talk to the original branch where the account was opened and he told me where that was.....in Shelburne, VT....even though I was living in NY at the time. I called the manager and told her what was going on and at first, she insisted that I had simply forgotten that I had opened the account and that I had probably only opened it to get some free gift they were offering at the time. I told her that was impossible and asked for the documentation. She then told me there was none that the account had been opened online!!!!! Then she started to flat out LIE to me and tell me that she could not understand my irritation as the account had never been used. I relayed what the other person had told me and she became very irate and told me she would not give me anything that would incriminate her or the bank. If it were not for the hassles and expense I would have sued them. A letter to the feds got nothing.

Jun 3rd 2008 4:45PM Until recently I had been an ebayer for the last ten years with little to no problems. Within the last couple of years though, it seems like there have been few auctions without problems...i,e; tardy shipping, shipping overcharges, bogus listings. I got screwed on my last three purchases in a row and have now cancelled my account because ebay customer service refused to take any action at all against the sellers. One even later informed me (after I disputed the item to Paypal 30 days later) that she not only never shipped the item, but that she had no record of even having it in the first place!!! She then told me that ebay had never even contacted her about it despite several complaints made directly to them concerning it. They basically laughed at me like it was all a big joke. Thank God Paypal was willing to make it right. Personally I wish ebay a long, painful death......

They provide incentives for low-moral doctors to prescribe the things and our politicians support their dishonesty because many of them hold stock in the company and all they care about is making a little blood money. Only low lifes would invest in a company like that with no regard for how they achieve their profits. May God have mercy on your souls......

Certainly if someone at my own dughter's middle school was of this persuasion I would want to know about it...no matter what the cost.It is this same belief that doesn't believe clearly guilty murderers and rapists should be let go on legal technicalities orchestrated by low-life attorneys with no regard for public welfare. Laws that were enacted 200 years ago should not have umbrella protection for everyone based on circumstances that the original writers of those laws could not possibly have envisioned at that time. Bad people need to be punished. Period.
