Masseto, The King of Merlot {Luxist}

Jul 13th 2010 7:45AM Odd to say today but Masseto is totally worth its price. I have been lucky to have it in almost every vintage and it makes it's French counterrparts pale, and I wouldn't call it just a Merlot, it's a spectacular wine. Now even moreso, with the recent prices of Bordeaux, Masseto is one of my very favorites ... I must start finding out about the release of the '07 ... anybody knows?
