I think the federal government should form a commission to review all artifacts in museums and destroy things from any person or event that they find objectionable. We could finally rid our culture of anything that isn't "good" history. The only problem would be deciding who would be on the commission. I'm sure that there are people, many of them on this forum, that would be willing to serve. But why reinvent the wheel? We could save a lot of time if we contacted government officials in the former Soviet Union, or China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, or even Hugo Chavez, and find out how they did it.
