Best/Worst Airports {Gadling}
Nov 21st 2006 10:24AM Everyone is absolutely right about Orlando Airport.
In and out is easy as pie especially after you have
done it a couple of time. But like every other airport
in the US - there is no waiting by the curb for anyone. My daughter is coming in soon and I will have her rent a car. Picking her up is almost impossible because there is no waiting like there is with some airports where there is a sign for cell phones. I think that is great. http://automaticbuilder.com/deeknox
Vibe Headphones {Luxist}
Nov 8th 2006 9:57AM Finally, I get a chance to make a statement. When you
decide to go live in another country - please learn to speak the language. I was always taught that it is extremely rude to speak a foreign language in front of someone who doesn't understand that language.
I went to a party held by my daughter who is married to someone from Mexico. All the Mexicans sat there and
talked to each other in Spanish so we couldn't understand what they were saying. Makes me think they
are talking about me. IT'S JUST SO RUDE . . . . . .
How some merchants prepare for Wal-Mart coming to town {BloggingStocks}
Oct 23rd 2006 10:09AM Like many, I hate WalMart because of the way they
destroy a way of life - especially in small communities. In the winter I live in Haines City FL
where almost all of our small businesses had to go out of business about 4 years ago when the big shot came to town. Those who own the business of WalMart
do not seem to have any feelings for the little guy.
Their Father would turn over in his grave if he could
see what WalMart has become. I don't think this was
his vision at all.
Fortunately, I'm in the wholesale handmade craft business which does quite well for me. Especially when we
attract mostly those who can afford the extra care
and artistic quality of an item.
Best wishes to all who must deal with a giant like
WalMart.
