Jan 6th 2011 9:52PM Mail order isn't the only businesses who have a 'restocking fee'. The same can be said of Best Buy and others like it. To me, it's a blatant 'scam'. There is no reason to charge a 35.00 restocking fee to put a item back on the shelf. In many cases the items were never opened because the person realized they got the wrong thing so never opened the box.
When shopping on line, make sure you have a legitmate telephone number. Know who you are dealing with. Know where the items you order come from (Imported or U.S.A. made).
Know the policy BEFORE you buy. If you don't like the policy, check around, there are other places that may have the same or nearly the same item without the 'hassles' of some business policies.
I thought Linen's & Things was gone. I threw away a $50.00 gift certificate because I wasn't able to fine something when I first got it, then Linen's failure and I couldn't get to a store to use it before one store within 40 miles of me went out of business.
This brings to light another point. IF you give GIFT CARDS...make sure you know the policy of the store regarding them. I've had some which were given to me and I didn't use them right away. Four months later, I find they have 'expired' !
Talk about a RIP OFF!! Gift cards should NEVER EXPIRE! Just my opinion. If that is the policy you can bet I not only will not buy gift cards for the store, but won't shop in that store either !

on those flares I'd be in them all the time. As it is...I'm stuck with straight legged jeans or boot cut because I cannot wear those low riders.
Another thing I wish....OH HOW I WISH...that they would take the pockets OFF THE BACK of ladies jeans ! At least give us a choice ! I like bare backs and it's impossible to find them. I don't need hip pockets!

Dec 20th 2010 3:02AM NEVER MIND....This IS a Middle Eastern sign. I had to look at the buildings, try to check the cars and people passing by.....difficult to do. BUT...finally saw a billboard
in the background at :36 showing a woman in Middle Eastern wear and vaguely could
make out the Arabic writing on it as well. I should have paid closer attention to the
tops of the buildings as well. Don't know where else there is so much work being
done on buildings (tops incomplete....you'd have to have travelled to the Middle East or spent time there to understand the meaning)....anywhere in the U.S.
So, I will check the prices in U.S. dollars. And while I'm at it, I'll have to see how those
models really look. It's one thing to see a drawing, but altogether another when you
want to know what something really looks like.

in 8 hour shifts....just not the normal 8 hours they would otherwise be working.
Who better the 'draw' the designs than the ones who put them on paper
in the first place.
Of course we don't know this....but we can hope.
Did anyone notice the price of the cars? This is not in U.S. dollars.....I hope.
If so, I guess American made will be off my list for the next car I buy. Gas is
killing us, no one seems to be making any great strides away from fossil
fuels, so I have to keep price of the vehicle AND the cost to run it in mind.
COME ON AMERICANS !! SURELY, you can do better than this?

Her choices are poor, unflattering, ugly and certainly nothing which could even remotely be classified as anything resembling 'class' or 'classic'. Too many sleeveless, straps, and unflattering dresses and tops. Then again, maybe it's just that the woman just doesn't make the clothes. I don't see very much of anything that looks good on her. My grandmother was right I guess. This woman has no class what so ever. Sorry Michelle, you're not going to make any impressions on anyone.

Dec 10th 2010 7:35PM The word 'attack' in this article and all others is misleading. Do you know that one bite or even a grab by one animal of another animal in the right spot can kill it or at the very least, injure it enough that is may have to be euthanized?
Do you suppose the little poodle came running out and nipped at this dog and in one attempt to protect itself, it just happened ot 'nip' (natural instinct) the poodle in just the right spot to cause it so much harm it had to be euthanized? Does this mean it 'attacked' the poodle? NO ! It means it reacted.
I have very little sympathy for dogs owners who allow their dogs (no matter what breed) to be loose and out of control. Keep your pets on a leash and under control.
I think the media is doing a dis-service by using the word 'attacked' regarding this and many other stories regarding animals. Shame on the media!
