Man Has $50,000 Puck Shot Overturned? It Must Be a Movie {Fanhouse Main}

Feb 16th 2011 4:05PM Actually, most insurance companies are not fighting Obamacare. In fact, most insurance companies lobbied for Obamacare, since the mandatory insurance line guarantees them all money. They very heavily lobbied for its passage. Most insurance companies are fighing efforts to amend or repeal it. Big Insurance WANTS Obamacare. Having every American required to buy insurance sounds very good to them.

Over 5,000 Janitors Have Doctoral Degrees {AOL Jobs}

Oct 25th 2010 2:57PM I am not at all suprised by this fact. Even in a good economy, there are many people who end up getting a degree that is basically useless, or has nothing to do with what they eventually do for a living. One of the main reasons for this is that people view college as a place to go to figure out what they want to be or what they want to do instead of going into college already knowing that. Many of my students don't even know what they want to major in, much less what they want to do with the degree once they earn it. Going to college to decide what you want to do with your life is a little like going to a restaurant and ordering your food before you figure out what you want to eat. Yes, it works as long as you don't mind paying for food you don't eat. It would be much better to know what you want first, and let that decision determine where you go and what you order.

FarmVille Users Can Now Grow 'Organic' Digital Crops {Switched}

Jul 18th 2010 11:18PM Exactly. Why in the world would someone want what amounts to free entertainment to most users. why dont they find something productive to do like search message boards and make fun of people like the hyper imtelligent people like us? What a complete waste of time for them. And heaven forbid they spend a few dollars on a video game they enjoy, its not like a new wii or xbox game or something.

'Iron Man 2': Inspired By 'Rocky III'? {Moviefone Blog}

Apr 14th 2010 2:56PM Actually, the writer says exactly that. Rocky SKIPS all that junk, and even mentions that is what got Apollo killed.

"For the big America vs. Russia showdown, Rocky skips all the dancing showgirls, flags and fireworks and James Brown singing 'Living in America' hoo-ha that (symbolically at least) proved to be Apollo Creed's downfall."

Superman To Fly Again: David Goyer Writing New Movie {Cinematical}

Feb 25th 2010 9:28AM Well, it cant be any worse than Superman Returns. I still cant figure out why they tried to reboot the series in the middle. Why make a remake of Superman 3 with a new script/story line? I did like Routh though. However, can they truely rebootthe series and keep the same actor?

Chickpeas with Garlic and Bay Leaves - Feast Your Eyes {Slashfood}

Jan 26th 2010 10:39AM This looks like an excellent side dish to my steak.....or maybe my chicken.

Jimmy Carter Leaves Church Over Treatment of Women {Politics Daily}

Jul 20th 2009 11:28PM There is no such thing as the Southern Baptist Church. He left a member church of the Southern Baptist Convention, which is a group of independently, locally run churches. Even if the votes at the convention meetings were 100% against women being ordained, that has no bearing on the actual practices of member churches. Southern Baptist churches are not organized in such a way that convention votes are binding on local churches.

Pirated 'Wolverine' Movie Lands Fox News Writer in Hot Water {Switched}

Apr 6th 2009 7:22PM I don't know, maybe because it is ILLEGAL to download and watch pirated material. Just because you can get access to something, that does not make it right for you to accept that access.

He publically confessed to a crime related to his job. He should have been fired.

Hot Seat: Hillary on Contraception {Politics Daily}

Jul 23rd 2008 3:39PM The question is inherently biased toward the pro choice side of the debate. Should birth control be considered abortion? Of course not. Should a known abortion method be considered birth control. NO. Birth control is designed to prevent a pregnancy while an abortion is designed to end a pregnancy. The emergency contraceptive pill, and some of the other methods described in Hillary's article, are known to end pregnancies after the implantation of the fetus and are therefore, by definition, abortion methods not contraception.
