Marion Jones Tells Oprah: "I Have to Find Out Who I Am" {Blackvoices Main}

Nov 2nd 2008 2:13PM What I want to see is a Super Special Olympics, where any and all drugs are accepted, and even nuclear powered prosthetic parts are grafted on to athletes. I have carped to my poor wife at every olympics for 30 plus years that originally Oympic events were about exercises that were training for war and I didn't like the namby-pamby stuff. But even ribbon waving would be enhanced if the athletes? and the audience were on massive doses of really speedy acid. And Sumo on PCP, do I need to say more. In fact I would add another element. How much faster would Phelps be if his heart were about to explode and there were starved bull sharks in the pool. And tigers chasing the runners in track and field events. A guy can dream can't he?

Nov 1st 2008 1:21PM We didn't go to Whitefront too often, but I bought the first Pink Floyd album at the Zody's at Nordhoff and Balboa. I am going to see Which One's Pink, a cover band tonight on my 56th birthday. It is 56 years ago today that the US exploded the 1st hydrogen bomb also.

Bloodhound supersonic car shooting for 1,000 MPH and new Land Speed Record {Autoblog}

Oct 25th 2008 9:17AM My cousin was crew chief on an attempt to break the speed of sound in a rocket car in the late 70's . They hit it going one way at dawn, but as mach 1 rose with the temperature in the desert sunrise they couldn't get going back. It was sponsered by the director of Cannonball Run and Smokey and the Bandit movies, Hal Needham. That one had pure hydrogen peroxide injected over hoops of polypropalene, and a sindwinder missle strapped to the top for the final burst.

Hunter Dies in Opening Weekend Accident {Fanhouse Outdoors}

Oct 24th 2008 1:01PM I lost my taste for hunting many years ago, I do think that many hunts are probably necessary in areas with too many of a species though. I think helicopter and semiautomatic rifle hunting, or " Texas Trophy" hunts, where they shoot old circus animals that are prodded from their cages are wrong . This old guy was hunting with a muzzleloader though. Next to a bow and arrow or a machete, that is very sporting.

Hunter Dies in Opening Weekend Accident {Fanhouse Outdoors}

Oct 24th 2008 12:52PM I have one of those discontinued TCR 83 rifles. It is no good for helicopter hunting. But if I ever have to pick off an enemy moose at a 1/4 mile it would come in handy. For helicopter hunting it is best to use an AK with an 80 round drum. The action can get so intense it is sometimes hard to differentiate between a wolf, a husky or even a standard poodle.

William F. Buckley's Son for Obama {Politics Daily}

Oct 10th 2008 11:22PM Frankie D as usual you are too dumb to count. The Dems took the Congress in November 2006. Not even two years ago. But as a typical sack of the Neo-conned ilk, you just lie and lie and lie. I was brought to thinjk that if you need to lie to win you are most likely wrong.

William F. Buckley's Son for Obama {Politics Daily}

Oct 10th 2008 11:18PM Diane, remember that Nixon armed the Shah, a ruthless dictator who had to have 10% of his own population on the dole as spies to last as long as he did, and allowed his secret police to jail, torture and kill any and all dissenting voices. Of c ourse he was going to fall, he just shouldn't have had so many US weapons to lose when he did. And Reagan armed Hussein, including chemical and biological weapons. And he and Bush 1 armed the Afghan Mouhajideen, who became the Taliban, and they financed Osama bin Laden with $200,000,000, that he used to create and fund al Qaida. Now we have Pakistan teetering towards being an anti Western Islamic republic, replete with 60 atomic warheads on longrange missles. If we never had a GOP President past Eisenhower, who was the only fiscal conservative they have offered for 90 years, we may not be in the 100 year war Mr. Magoo so wants to be the leader of. A vote for Mr. Magoo and Sarah is a vote for a Bridge to Nowhere.

Este lauder and Wal-Mart make nice - strange times {Stylelist (Main)}

Oct 6th 2008 6:54PM In 1969 my late friend Warren Stuart's father gave Warren some money and asked us to drive to Robinson's and get his mother a bottle of Estee Lauder perfume for Christmas. Now as luck would have it, when his father approached us, we were just coming on to several hits of LSD 25. Neither one of us had any idea what the gibberish he was speaking was supposed to be about. But you keep that to yourself if you are smart. If you keep your mouth shut no one can tell you are high on LSD. Between us though we put together that he wanted some Astrolada perfume from Robinsons. Luckily by the time we were pretty sure there was no such thing we had gotten past the initial craziness and when we asked a saleslady and she laughed and produced a bottle of Estee Lauder perfume. Remind me to tell you about when Warren and I decided we would take some STP and some Rainbows and go the movies to see Krakatoa East of Java and listen to Hendrix instead of the soundtrack sometime.

Barack and Sarah: Yes, We Kenya! {Politics Daily}

Sep 29th 2008 1:10PM The Ayatollah has more power then the President in Iran. Everyone who reads newspapers or remembers history knows this one. So I assume the question was posed by a person who has been Neo-Conned.
