Apr 29th 2010 7:47PM I'm a Caps fan. What you saw was 8th seeded Montreal beat #8 Ovechkin. A team vs a great player. It's long past time that the Caps built Defense outside the pipes. Once again, woulda, shoulda, coulda, DIDN'T! Also if it's 4 against 4 you don't do a bone head move and get thrown in the box. 3 against 4 is pretty rough. Thanks Green.
Feb 25th 2010 12:21AM I went to Curry College in the early 90's. The football team won two games while i was there. If he helped turn around Curry's program he did a big job.
Oct 30th 2007 1:45AM Now that we all think A-Rod was worthless this season, let's remember that George Steinbrenner is the worst Yankee EVER! If Steinbrenner hadn't been banned by baseball the Yankees would have never been able to put together the dynasty that won 4 out of 5 world series and go to a sixth. Steinbrenner complaing about free agency is also hypocritical since George was the first to jump on that gimmick with Catfish and Reggie. Steinbrenner and his two son's and son in law have done enough damage the past few weeks. Now they have an entire off season to do more. Wonder where Posada is gonna play next year. The problem was never Torre, or Billy Martin, or Yogi Berra. It's always been George. Not only did we lose the best player in baseball and a great manager, we still have no pitching.
Oct 30th 2007 1:33AM I have painfully been a life long Bullets - Wizards fan since the Wes Unsel - Elvin Hayes days. What the Wizards need is big man. They drafted one from overseas two years agobut made no effort to sign him. The don't need Kobe. It's obvious Kobe is a team cancer, even if he is a hell of a player. Let's not go back to the days of Chris Webber and Howard.
Mar 6th 2007 5:35AM Am I the only one who thinks its a shame that there is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
Oct 15th 2006 7:54AM John Lennon was never really a pleasant person. He grew up in a bad crowd and held one job his whole life...singer. It wasn't just his wife he ditched it was everything around him. Most of the last Beatle songs don't even involve Lennon...he never showed up to record. Lennon broke up the Beatles, Yoko made sure it happened. He then spent along time secluded in the Dakata doing heroin...now if those walls could talk. With this being said I don't think it takes away from the Beatles mark in music.
