Wal-Mart is a buy, no matter what. Sure, you might want to try to time it when the stock takes a dip, but you'd best not forget the company has grown into the behemoth it is through both economic feast and famine, with hardly a pause.
#2, you make a great point about how many of those "22,000 hires" were kept on. It's a shame our financial media don't ask the same questions.

And #7 -- I hear you, with some validity. BUT at least Wal-Mart's jobs are being added here in the good ol' USA, not outsourced! (No corporate money-making machine is ever going to be blameless.)

Here's the sad thing about the e-mail asking "Proud Black People" to boycott AriZona products: The e-mail is so rife with typos and grammatical errors that it does far more harm to black folks' reputation than that silly label would do, even if it actually did depict what he claims it did.
Which it doesn't!

May 29th 2007 7:02PM First, I have to agree with Linda (#6) -- the headlines on these items need to be vetted by an editor, so that they reflect actual content.
Having said that, this item does have a very useful sentence: "they are usually labeled as cold churned, slow churned, or double churned." We've all seen those.
Finally, there's nothing wrong with full-fat ice cream in moderation by a person who exercises regularly and watches what they eat in general. If you don't (and I was once one of this type), then you don't need to be eating any kind of ice cream.
