Feb 19th 2011 4:54PM Kevin Blackistone is an idiot. I watch Around The Horn regularly, and he always took some odd stances, but this takes the cake. Since when has Oprah become a condition for parole? He does everything the courts, the NFL, and Eagles reps tell him to do, pays millions in fines and loses millions in income, yet he is not forgiven unless he appears on Oprah? She uses everything to further her own ratings, not benefit the guest. For example, look at the way she USED her half-sister's existence and Tom's Cruise's behavior for ratings; so what makes you think that Vick would benefit from an appearance? Oprah is a big girl Kevin Blackistone, and doesn't need you to fight her battles or book her guests for her. You lost all respect from me, and I hope they book Michael Smith or JA Adande more often than you on Around The Horn; you stink compared to those commentators. You are just trying to use this non-incident to further your own career like that Dallas Radio Host Richard Hunter. You both are the journalistic equivalents of muckraking politicians who create wedge issues to inflame and divide a body politic for their own career purposes. Shame on you! Lindsay Lohan just bailed on David Letterman's show too, going to make an issue of that as well?

Oct 11th 2006 3:03PM What a shame that anyone would even think of spending $350k on a phone when there is a world of needy people. Victims of Katrina or Iraq or 9/11 charities could use it so much more.
