In the photo you can see all the leaves in the pool. I'd bet it's full of grass clippings as well, unless a wall rises out of the ground when the guy mows and edges.

Nov 29th 2010 1:02PM This was an awful night for Family Guy/American Dad in my opinion. I'd never seen the Rush Limbaugh thing before, but I have no need to see it again. I'm guessing from the credits that Rush voiced himself, and I think that was the funniest part. These crazy political episodes of the last two weeks need tougher targets and solid conclusions, and both were soft and waffley.
I thought the 'land stealing' idea could have been funny, but they just cut it off with no real payoff. The flashback to Rodger, the wolf, and the mistaken identity was funny--I'll give them that.

Nov 22nd 2010 10:51AM The last two episodes of The Simpsons have been awful. The one with the Flight of the Concords guys was pretty good - I'm not sure what's going on.
As for Avatar - they are still flying on those dragon things? Time to get up and go to the bathroom and get some popcorn and maybe the movie will have gone on to something else.

Nov 18th 2010 5:46PM That's not true. Many fine residences in Manhattan are priced for sale well above their rental prices, sometimes 2-3 times above when you include mortgage, taxes, condo fees, etc.
I'm not aware of the asking price for this particular residence, but as an example, why spend $90k a month on a mortgage payment when you can rent the same place for $45k?

Nov 16th 2010 10:22AM The double entendres of the Space whatever show were sorta funny, but the Barney callout of however many reality show enders was awful and seems to me like it existed just to spin the clock. I muted that part.
I think this episode would have been funnier to watch with a 10 year old boy.
