Nov 26th 2006 5:24PM I do a lot of pressure canning and water bath canning, which is some high tempature BOILING water, had a lot of it splash up on my delicate thighs, and never, not once has the skin burned off. Also, I own a top of the line expresso maker, with a frother attachment, which is what starbucks uses to warm the milk for the hot cocoa. It is completely unfounded that the frother could get the milk as hot as boiling water, let alone hot enough to boil off skin.
And just what were the parents thinking, not check~ ing the tempature of the drink? Did their Nanny have the day off and they couldn't remember how to be parents on their own?

Oct 7th 2006 2:23PM If I had the money, I'd get one for my dog. But then again, my husband and I have chosen to not have children, and we feel our papillon IS our child. There's nothing within reason we won't buy him. We're currently building our first home, and it includes secret tunnels for our Little Joe to get from one room to the next, and little hideaways just for him. if you can, spoil them! Unlike kids, they're always grateful and they never backtalk. :)
