Apr 21st 2010 2:01AM Chase canceled my card also...though I was never late or over limit and I have a good FICO score. Based on the other comments from people here in the same boat, it seems pretty obvious that Chase is lying through their teeth when they claim they canceled only 15% of their customers. Sounds to me that it's probably more like 30% or more. Our tax dollars bail out the banks and this is how they repay us. They're all crooks, plain and simple. If there were some way for all of us to band together and boycott their unethical practices by all of us refusing to pay off our canceled cards, then of course they'd immediately change their tune. But unfortunately, that's not possible so we're all stuck between a rock and a hard place and have to acquiesce to their extortion tactics and continue to pay off the closed account. Crooks. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I hope the SEC nails all the Goldman Sachs fraudsters et al and someday makes an example of these financial institution cheaters and crooks.
