Jan 30th 2012 5:34PM I would love to win this but not for me, for my daughter. She is a wonderful, 15 yr old; who is very loving and takes very good care of her doggies... Oscar and Stratford. Oscar was her Valentine's present in 2002. Stratford's birthday is on Valentine's day. She got him around Easter of 2005. She always would give them a party on Valentine's day....a doggie cake and a new toy for each, even though Stratford would end up taking both toys. Oscar passed away Feb. 2011 and I hope this Valentine's day will not be too hard for her. Just thought it would be a nice surprise for Stratford to give her for Valentine's day.

Feb 3rd 2010 4:20PM When my husband and I began dating, we had an incident on Valentine's day about making ice cream sundae's. He had cooked dinner for me at his condo and had bought the things to make the sundae's. Anyway, I told him he could have one if he wanted one, meaning I didnt care for one I was full from my wonderful dinner but he took it as me giving him premission to have dessert that he had bought in his own home. So, now on Valentine's day, he always brings in anything and everything that you could put on an ice cream sundae and We have our sundae's first and usually that's all. It is a very special tradition we have had for 15 years and I hope he continues it forever.

Dec 26th 2009 2:17PM We used to love going out for New Years but after we had our daughter, well let's just say this is not a holiday made for families especially with small children. So for the last 14 yrs, we have our own stay at home New Year's party. My daughter picks dinner, the movies, the games and refreshments. This is her party and we just have a ball. This is our own tradition and I will truely be sad when she decides in a few more yrs that she wants to go out like we used to do. Happy New Year's!!!

Oct 11th 2009 1:55PM NEVER, NEVER use more than one color! Only use white linens, plates, and crystal and use your color for your flowers. Use a small, intimate size vase and keep the flowers below your eye level, preferrably cut at the vase level. Use more arrangements than 1 gigantic one in the center. Nothing is worse than people dogding a huge centerpiece of flowers during dinner. Also, remember to use your sideboard for decorations too. Just remember to use the same color.Take a large hurricane lamp and fill with lemons if your using yellow. Be creative. Use marbles, use small seashells, use rose petals or candy. Just remember...the same COLOR.

Oct 1st 2009 8:38AM They should!!! They may be in an industry that is hurting but you could never tell it from their prices nor their customer service. We stayed a week and a half and they wouldnt give us a room discount or anything and charged the full rate for everything. ( We were only supposed to be there a few days but my husband had a heartattack and was admitted into the hospital and no they didnt care.) They even made me pay the $ 25.00 just to get the phone cut on so I could call and check on him in ICU. I had my daughter, 2 dogs and my husband in the ICU unit of a hospital and they didnt give a care. I was treated with a coldness that I will never forget nor would wish on anyone mustless someone in my postion. Good luck to them because with the customer service and caring I received in RIchmond, VA this past summer.....They need all the help they can get...Free giveaways and all!!!!!
