Singer Castle, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Oct 5th 2006 10:11AM Singer Castle on Dark Island was purchased in 2001 by an investment group, of which Vladi Private Islands is a minority partner, for under US $2.5 million. Since then, substantial investments exceeding US $10 million have been made in the property, including the entire renovation of the castle interior, exterior, roof and other outbuildings, the creation of a successful tourist and wedding location hire business, as well as the purchase of a mainland property. The island and castle are now for sale through the exclusive listing agents, Sothebys International Realty, who have independently valued the property at US $22 million.
