As far as direct deposits and automatic payment withdrawals go, i use them both and have never had a problem with either. Although i know people that have when the payroll dept. messed up at work.

Sounds like they utilized some debt relief service themselves.

Dec 15th 2010 3:26AM I switched to dish about 10 yrs ago when i bought and installed my own equipment dvr/rec & ant. eliminating rental, guide & tivo fees. Signal was good most of the time, i got trees to deal with and never a problem with customer service. I wish you could choose ala carte programming, but that isn't going to happen. I don't watch that many channels. Last month i canceled the service because $ is to tight and now i'm down to watching the local digital OTA channels. When things get better i thought i might go back to directv to save a few $ but i will probably stay with dish because i still have MY equipment, especially now that i hear this about directv. Merry Christmas to all.
