Is your teen dressing a little too sexy for Halloween? {ParentDish}
Oct 18th 2006 1:55PM I know that fashions change as times change, and that as you get older you start saying things like 'that's not how it was when I was a kid'(as young people roll their eyes). But I'm only 25, and this isn't how it was when I was a kid! Please parents, be willing to be the bad guys and keep your daughters from rushing into what they think is adulthood.
Denmark a shining example on ridding itself of trans fats {That's Fit}
Oct 18th 2006 1:36PM It's sad to think that our society is so incapable of controlling our eating habits that we have to bring down laws to do it for us. However, I think this law is necessary to save us from ourselves
Ballroom Dancing is Great Exercise {That's Fit}
Oct 17th 2006 2:03PM Dancing is a great workout, ballroom or otherwise. Taking ballroom dancing lessons, (if you can get your scheduals to meld) can be a great way to add some spice to your relationship and get in shape.

Oct 13th 2006 12:20PM Crafts are great for kids on a rainy day to keep them from tearing the house apart, or any day for that matter. Craft projects help kids become more creative, not just at crafts, but in all aspects of their lives. Creativity will do them well in elementary and high shcool.
Tips for cooking baby food at home {Slashfood}
Oct 12th 2006 12:17PM This is exactly what my mother did with me. She believed it was healthier, and it was definately more economical. It can make for more work, but give it a try.
A sweet way to support breast cancer research {ParentDish}
Oct 11th 2006 4:32PM I'm glad you posted this. We don't actually get a lot of kids coming around on Halloween (long street, homes either down in a valley or up a big hill - as in, stairs stairs stairs wherever you look!), so I tend to buy regular sized treats to give out. I think I'll pick up a bunch of these pink M&Ms.
Mangoes can help fight cancer {That's Fit}
Oct 10th 2006 2:36PM Mangoes are my favorite fruit - I prefer the small mangoes that look like an elongated egg, and I find they're harder to find. My heart gave a little flip-flop, btw, when I saw that your organic food supplier is in Canada, but unfortunately, I'm in central Canada :(
Be happy with your body now {That's Fit}
Oct 4th 2006 9:38AM Staying positive about yourself while trying to loose weight is so important. I find that it's my state of mind, not diet and exercise that affect my progress. A bad emotional day can even keep me from the gym. Keep your goal in mind and remember that everyday is a step towards that goal!
Tumi Bernadette Golf Bag {Luxist}
Oct 4th 2006 9:26AM I love that there are so many ways to show our support for breast cancer research. Whether it's a ribbon, a sticker on your car, a t-shirt, or even this golf-bag, anything that makes people stop and think, and perhaps donate their money or time helps the fight.
Denim for Immortality Jeans {Luxist}
Oct 3rd 2006 12:45PM I think anything that gets money to breast cancer research is phenomenal. Weather you walk, canvass, donate, or buy these jeans, just show your support the best way you can.
