Feb 26th 2010 5:03PM I make in the high 7 figures and there is nothing wrong with splurging a little on $10K shoes if I desire. If I can afford it, and I like those shoes, I damn well have the right to buy it. There is nothing that says that I have to donate my money to some pan-handler or do-good organization. It is my money and I can do whatever I please with it--be that buying $10K shoes or renting out a tropical island for a private vacation.
