Feb 24th 2010 12:41PM For those who prefer not to use plastic bottled, www.friendsofwater.com has a stainless steel filtering water bottle. It also reduces fluoride considerably. There is also lots of info on fluoride and other water issues there.
It appears from some studies and anecdotal reports that fluoride has helped some with dental health. However, even the americal dental association told its members a few years ago that fluoride is dangerous for infants. We're told fluoride serves no purpose for older people. And there are untold numbers around the country whose health is damaged by it, including those with thyroid issues and other sensitivities. How about those who want fluoride use it, and those who don't want it not have it put in their drinking water?
