For a long time held him in high esteem thinking "Gee, this guy is not like all those Hollywood elite types-He made Saving Private Ryan, one of the best WWII flicks ever. Figured he had his smarts about what is really going on only to find that after his idiotic comments recently that there is one truth you can say about him. He truly is a great "ACTOR" because he had myself and many others fooled all of this time. Very disappointed in him. Thinking back though you can see some clues in his recent work such as not a single mention of God or religion while he is on a deserted island for 5 years in "Castaway" not to mention the church-bashing Davinci Code. Who is left in Hollywood? Dennis Miller? Gary Sinise?

Feb 23rd 2010 10:58PM Pocket Fisherman was pretty cool. Someone had given me a used one when I was about 12. Had it on the fishing pier in Ft Lauderdale (CA1976) & a foreign tourist gave me 20 bucks for it- big money for a kid then.
