Jul 9th 2008 8:57AM the reason a vet will perform this surgery (as well as cropping ears, docking tails and "de-barking a dog or de-clawing a cat) is that the owner will no longer keep the animal if it is not done. they know there are way too many homeless pets as it is, and they simply want to give the animal the best shot at a good life of care; if the animal suffers a bit of pain for a short while it is a small price to pay to keep the animal safe, happy and healthy for its lifetime.

Mar 30th 2008 4:11PM please do not forget it was the french that helped with the revolutionary war. without their money, troops and naval ships historians contend we could easily still be under England's rule. in fact, they spent so much money on us their government went into financial ruin which direcly led to the storming of the Bastille and the French Revolution. (and the deaths of the royal family, including Marie Antionette) So maybe, just maybe, we could be even with them? before you make snap judgements, please delve into the history of the matter.

Mar 25th 2008 9:03AM seriously, people...if courtney was that bad he would have ditched her himself. and by the way, hole's best music was before she got involved with him. not to mention she was not the only one in the band! eric erlanderson (spelling?, kirsten phaff (spelling?) and melissa auf du maur all contributed, probably more than she did. AND she is the one who got her life together, quit drugs and is a great parent to francis bean. i do feel bad for kurt in that his depression was so bad, but when you kill yourself (or want to) it is often not about how bad your life is. look at him! he had everything rock musicians dream about (except the drug problem). courtney did NOT cause his death- it takes two people to mess up a relationship. leave her alone about this. i'm sure she has had a hard enough time reconciling her past. stop beating a dead horse.

Oct 4th 2007 4:12AM Courtney had a pretty crazy life growing up, if what i've read is true. i have always been fascinted by her, but i'm not exactly sure why. at least you can say she's one of a kind! sharon has a right to be angry if she thinks that it is true jack accepted drugs from her, but she knows better- if courtney didn't give it to him, he would have gotten it elsewhere. an adddict is an addict; where or when or why we become active users is moot. it will happen sometime.
