May 26th 2012 11:45AM After having been in a similar situation at the door on the plane, but not in the air with a fouled harness thankfully, I can see a layered problem. A friend had told two of us on the ground that under no circumstances were we allowed to let him back out. We were doing a HALO jump and he knew he might freeze up and wanted to make sure he did the jump. Odd? Oh hell yeah, but people do that stuff. If she said something similar on the ground, she has no grounds for suit. But if she did not? She may end up owning the plane. She is a paying customer and has the right of refusal, it may still cost her for the experience but she can still change her mind about the jump. In plain language, no means no.
Nov 13th 2010 7:13PM Although the cool factor and geek factor are both very good, I have never visited a city in the US where the streets are as smooth or as clean as the sidewalks. I have hit stones on blades and its not a lot of fun tumbling at 25 mph, tie in a 100 pound piece of fiberglass and aluminum tied to my legs and its gonna leave a mark........
Oct 12th 2009 9:45PM Tony is a boor, Guy is a clown, Tony is slowly killing himself with excessive alcohol and chain smoking while Guy is laughing all the way to the bank. Somehow I don't think Guy is all that worried. Who would you rather eat and drink with, a maudlin boor who thinks his feet don't stink? Or a man who loves food, drives a convertible and can laugh at himself?
Oct 12th 2009 9:35PM The point of the cellphones was there are neighbors who have them and his windmill recharges them, he's not hiding his ideas he's allowing all to join in on his creativity, that's the sort of attitude that will help heal Malawi and a few other places too. This is the sort of young man who can change hearts and minds and ultimately change countries.
Aug 1st 2009 4:02PM If you report these illegal advertisers everytime you see one, they can rack up enough violations to be charged under illegal spam laws and AOL or who ever owns the board can prosecute. Hit that exclamation point everytime you see one.
Jul 26th 2009 10:38AM I still think Green Bay is missing an opportunity to have what may be one of the all time best quarterback coaches of all time, he wouldn't just tell the kids how to do it, he could show them in scrimmage and build another dynasty, now that would truly be a Favre legacy.
Jul 23rd 2009 9:10PM Excuse me, isn't the real issue here, the fact that some California politicians are so worried about reelection that they are afraid to make the cuts needed to balance the budget? The people in Wisconsin and Maine are not going to pay for their lack of intestinal fortitude so they had better worry less about the antics of the soon to be former governor (term limits) and more about the task they have at hand.
Mar 19th 2009 7:53AM I am suing the Nabisco and Keebler Corporations, they call their saltines CRACKERS!!!
Jun 4th 2008 6:31PM Excuse me, was this question asked when Romney lost? Was this question asked when Bill Richardson lost? This question is an appeal to the base nature allowing for women to be the weaker sex, it has no place and no value in the discussion on who is to lead the United States for the next 4 years.
Mar 23rd 2008 8:23AM Putting all the inane comments on race aside, if I am paying you $5,000,000 a year to do a job and I want your hair to be short, then your hair will be short. You want to "save" your hair? Find somebody else willing to pay that amount of money and let you keep your hair. What's more important, your rich man's lifstyle or your doo?
