May 3rd 2006 7:53AM I think people are wising up to the fact that hybrids are an oversold commodity. This means that the overall fuel savings are minimal for the price premium, the batteries will wear out, and that a ton of energy is expended in the production of each battery [something conveniently left out of the entire debate].
