'The Simpsons': Homer Betrays Mob Boss in 'Goodfellas' Spoof (VIDEO) {AOL TV}
Dec 13th 2010 12:55PM While this episode did have elements of "Goodfellas", it was more of an homage to 1997's "Donnie Brasco" starring Al Pacino and Johnny Depp.
'Desperate Housewives' Season 7, Episode 1 (Season Premiere) Recap {AOL TV}
Sep 28th 2010 7:04PM I'm so glad that the "baby-switch" storyline isn't being kept secret. I like that the audience was let in early and can concentrate on the story, and not have to guess at the mystery. Also, loved the opening scene flashback to the neighborhood BBQ at the Scavo's, but missed seeing Ida. I thought it annoying that Susan would be so quick to judge someone else's lifestyle just cause she didn't agree with it - didn't she learn ANYTHING with her and Karl's affair behind Edie's back and the fact that none of the other ladies judged her on that! And when did MJ become such a brat? And sorry, Isabelle but in your column, just because the Delfino's live in an apartment and not a house, doesn't mean that home should be put in quotations - it is STILL a home!

TNT, TBS Order 4 Pilots, Including 'Dallas' Update {AOL TV}
Sep 9th 2010 4:43PM I'll at least give it a shot. I just hope that producers don't focus just on teens and 20 somethings stripping for the camera in order to "move the storyline forward". The original "Dallas" relied on great story arcs and intriguing plotlines to draw viewers in. Sadly, today producers and studios feel the need to flash bright lights and half-naked women (or less) in order to please the masses in lieu of ANY storyline. Make this an intelligent reboot with real drama, and they may just have a winner...

'Desperate Housewives' - 'Stone Doll' Recap {AOL TV}
May 10th 2010 1:47PM I think the Andrew/Bree/Sam storyline can go a couple of ways- Sam could die in the explosion that will likely kill Patrick or Nick, Andrew will die in the explosion (since Shawn Pyfrom is exiting) or Andrew will decide he can't let his mother suffer anymore for him and turn himself in sending that character to prison and creating tension (and a great storyline) between the Bree and the Solis'. Also Andrew's death could be a springboard for Bree to battle her alcholism again with Orson there to save her and allow DH to explore the issues of a parent losing a child (somethinng not really done on this show)Karen would be a great asset during this time for Bree also. As for the Bolens, most likely Patrick will be killed, allowing Danny/Tyler, Nick, and Angie to heal and move back to their past lives - or at least Danny and Angie - Nick may die also since he's a rogue Fed. With the Bolen's gone, maybe Susan and Mike will get a deal on that house since no one else wants to live in such a dangerous house... And I hope Katherine at least has a goodbye scene -sheesh.
'Desperate Housewives' - 'Chromolume #7' Recap {AOL TV}
Mar 15th 2010 1:16PM I was surprised by Gabby's storyline - I really thought that she had given up the career at Carlos' insistence. Considering how she acted to the other housewives when she moved into the neighborhood, I'm not surprised she was a handful! As for Sam... it never occurred to me either that he was Rex's son. I have a feeling that this will be the catalyst for Shawn Pyfrom's departure from the series (something that was announced earlier this year). Sam may be Bree's "salvation" - he may allow her to rectify all the mistakes she made with Andrew and Danielle and make great strides toward reparing her relationship with Orson. I only hope that he doesn't turn out to be unstable and psychotic. He looked like he was barely holding it together after Andrew knocked him down (although I don't agree with violence, I was glad Andrew knocked that smug look off of his face!). I also assumed at first that he was gay, but that would be redundant for Bree to have two gay children (though not biologically) - however it does happen. He did mention that Andrew was having an affair with that assistant from last week - I don't like the way that that plotpoint was so nonchalant considering Andrew and Alex are supposed to be in a committed relationship. I wonder if he is the strangler from earlier this season... did that storyline get a resolution? If Patrick had no idea where Angie and Dominque were, who was spying on them?
What Movie(s) Have You Walked Out Of? {Cinematical}
Mar 5th 2010 11:56AM I walked out of John Travolta's "Battlefield Earth" less than an hour after it started. There weren't very many people in the theatre to begin with, and I was one of the last to leave. As I walked out the the theater manager was standing at the entrance handing out complimentary movie passes for all the people leaving! I guess they knew how bad it was going to be!
Review: Desperate Housewives - The Glamorous Life {AOL TV}
Feb 1st 2010 2:09PM I must say i've really enjoyed Drea DeMatteo as Angie Bolan. She's a great addition to the lane. That being said I'm worried that she won't have a sympathetic reason for staying on the show once her backstory is revealed. Yah the housewives are enviromental but not enough to sympathize with her over killing one or more people. I hope the writers have another reason for the ladies of Wisteria Lane to rally around her once this season is over like Katherine's loss of a child, or Betty's protection of her son.
