Molyneux predicted a Revolution ... in '04 {Joystiq}
Apr 10th 2006 4:46PM Just a quick thought. If Microsoft decided to bundle a revmote style controller with Halo 3, I don't think they would have any problem reaching a high market penetration for the controller.
Miyamoto: Twilight Princess uses Revo controller {Joystiq Nintendo}
Mar 16th 2006 12:12AM It seems to me, like it is not so much that TP will have Revo functionality built into it, but rather that you can use the Revo controller instead of the GCN controller.
This also seems to indicate imo, that any Gamecube (and maybe N64, SNES, NES) game will be able to take advantage of the Revo controller.
If you think about it, the Revo controller will do exactly the same thing as a normal controller, but it will just do it in a different fashion.
To be able to play any Nintendo game with the Revo controller sounds awesome to me!
PS3 worldwide in November [UPDATE 21] {Joystiq}
Mar 15th 2006 4:30AM I find these two statements interesting:
1. Games will only be made on Blu-Ray disks.
2. It will be completely backwards compatible with PS & PS2.
Whats to keep a developer from saying "Oh, this is a PS2 Game (read cheaper disk) that you can play on the PS3."
I don't know the ends and outs of the video game business, but I guess they can keep that from happening through licensing agreements.
Or maybe Blu-Ray disks will be the only disks that can access advanced features like online play through the Sony Network.
Any thoughts?
IGN gets their hands on a Revolution dev kit {Joystiq}
Mar 11th 2006 4:19AM I agree with Orson #65: I haven't owned a system since the N64. I've played around on different systems (all three) since that time, but haven't been really excited about the future of gaming until...oh...a few months ago when I read an AP (Associated Press) article on a generic news site. When I found out about the controller, I became very excited and started trying to find more information about the Rev. That is actually how I ended up becoming a regular reader of Joystiq (I think I found the site through Google). So, it looks like Joystiq can thank the Revolution for one more additional reader (and it seems like I'm not the only one). I'm sure there are many more besides Orson and myself. I am really excited about the Revolution, and I personally believe it is going to greatly change the face of gaming as we know it.
- That's just a casual observance from a casual gamer who has gained an renewed interest in video games due to Nintendo's latest moves.

Metroid Prime Hunters starring... {Joystiq}
Feb 15th 2006 5:40PM Wow! That looks amazing! If it looks that good for the DS, imagine what Metroid is going to be like on the Revolution!
I can't wait!
Breath Palette Flavored Toothpastes {Luxist}
Feb 14th 2006 5:23PM Hmmm...31 flavors huh. Toothpaste isn't ice cream, why would I want that many flavors of toothpaste? I'm sure just like ice cream there are some flavors that I wouldn't like and would end up never using.
On top of that, the design is pretty bland. For $5 a tube, I would expect a slick looking container.
Nintendo aims at Oprah's audience {Joystiq Nintendo}
Feb 10th 2006 9:05AM I bet if Reggie appeared on Oprah's show Nintendo would create quite a demand from the non-gamer crowd. Just look what happens with books she features on her show.
MooBella Ice Cream {Luxist}
Feb 10th 2006 9:00AM That would be awesome to have in your house. I thought I had read somewhere that they were going to be starting off installing this in the Northeast US.
Newfoundland Island For Sale {Luxist}
Feb 10th 2006 8:57AM That island really does not look very attractive at all. I would imagine you could find much better islands for $6 million.
