Treetops, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Jan 28th 2010 9:36AM My parents commissioned this house - it was their dream home and our family had many wonderful times there. Despite it's size, it is a warm, inviting home that we loved. The remodel is interesting and the landscaping is beautiful. Vermont Township is filled with interesting, friendly neighbors and provides some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. The pictures are great, but they don't do it justice. There's so much more to see! I have the history of the location and the details of the building process which took a couple of years. When my parents listed it back in the early 80s for $750,000 it was the most expensive home ever listed in Dane County (according to the Wisconsin State Journal). How times have changed!
