Aug 11th 2010 8:43PM I was disapointed about a volunteer postion becuase of my good looks and experience, which was more than the person who interviewed me. It is a sad fact. I even dressed carefully, a la surburban mom in Ann Taylor chinos, simple sweater and hair style. It is their loss though.

Jun 15th 2007 1:33PM I think the hiugh end shoe designers should be put in jail for promoting shoes that are waaay expensive and RUIN everyone's feet and back( encouraging bad posture, creating corns on toes...I could go on. Yea for Crocs, Dansko, Clarks, Ecco, Bass, etc!!!!

Jun 15th 2007 1:28PM I am 5'3" and 117 lbs. I don't care for cute at 60 yrs old but since I am high energy, it comes off cute easily.Not to say I am not fun, especailly with the grandbabies :D People who know me know when I am NOT cute ( like my kids and husband.) I have a successful business and cute is not good at times. Some have said I have a 6' personality in a 5' body...I like that!

Jun 8th 2007 8:30PM My daughters went to school with Alicia. She gave up an excellent education for ...this?! She was a 'loser' at school and she is a loser as an adult now. Showing good manners is a reflection of ourselves. Trying to hurt someone for having differing VIEWS is completely classless. I hate Bush too and believe he and his evil cronies are bringing our country to it's knees( however, people w/out crtical thinking skills are blame too). Courtesy at home and abroad are needed.

May 17th 2007 10:44AM Finally someone is giving out this information. As a former coach and PE teacher I tried to inform my students that daily,pleasant EXERCISE is the best vitiamin pill ever. Girls who diet not only starve their bodies of nutrients for life, but develop many problems/diseases later which cannot be rectifyed.

Apr 8th 2007 12:05AM The Bush regime has never attempted diplomacy. Finally it takes an American-Italian grandmother to start some dialogue! I travel the world and know that Europeans will take note ( and heart) that Pelosi has the smarts to begin some kind of outreach. If we don't 'dialogue' we will never find out what actions need to be taken / and what they are up to.

Sep 27th 2006 10:37PM I cut my hair into a "Twiggy" a month before our wedding. My hair was down to my hiops, blonde and shiny ala beach Boy era style.. Looking back I realized I did it to test my future husband. He walked right by me as I waited for his business law class to be done. Slightly shocked, he was fine. We've been married over 38 years now.

Sep 25th 2006 6:39PM I guess, IF you have the time, this belt altitude is "OK". I personally find that it is one more thing to worry about, to add time when dressing, AND!...it may get in the way of me eating as much as I want. Ain't gonna happen.
