The $10,000 Proposal Martini {Luxist}

Jan 26th 2010 1:24PM Money, romance, money, romance. Stop pressuring these men into doing something that expensive. Girls be happy he's proposing no matter where it's at. Advertisers want money, all we want are men that CAN COMMIT, STAY COMMITTED, and stick it out for the 25 and 50th Anniversity. There is already enough pressure for them to get married, if the women can get them past that fear and they are purchsing a ring, don't attach a $10,000 price tag on what what should be the most practical moment in a womans life. And to the women who pressure your man to spend that kind of money when the entire economy is hurting, people are losing their jobs, homes, savings...... shame on you big business for even advertising something like this. That $10,000 could go into the purchase of a home, savings account that you may have to dip into once you are married. Americans get real! $10,000 for a wedding ring. Wow! Take a class on budgeting and living within a budet.....
