Pink Talks 'Man Abs' With Women's Health {That's Fit}

May 3rd 2010 3:57AM Should you need inspiration to break out of the tedium of your treadmill routine, you'd do well to get to a Pink concert pronto for a close-up look at the performer's fantastic new physique, as showcased in barely-there costumes. You'll leave itching to hit an all-night fitness club after the encore. But the artist behind the Cirque du Soleil-style stunts (at the 2009 VMAs, Pink sang upside down, dangling by one leg from a trapeze) is also a woman to be admired for many other reasons. Behold the kind of honesty that is rarely exhibited by a major star, as Pink talks about the power of performing in front of a crowd of thousands, enduring a yearlong separation from her husband, and how ramping up her workout helped restore her confidence.

Eyebrows Stiffly Raised Over 'Human Barbie' Injecting Her Teen with Botox {ParentDish}

May 3rd 2010 1:54AM If I remember my university anatomy correctly, the brain is covered by an out membrane called the dura, and two inner membranes, the pia and the arachnoid.
Does the blood-brain barrier protect against these neurotoxins? How much of this substance is absorbed into the bloodstream, and stored in the liver? What are the long-term effects of botox?This "fad" reminds me of men injecting silicone directly into their penis in the Sixties, and some women injecting it into their breasts and faces. The result? Dreadful scarring, and a horrific, lumpy body(I'm not making this up -- there have been a number of documentaries covering the silicone injecting fad, showing what these people look like today). Scarred for life, charming www.womenhealthline.com

Spy Shots: Next-gen Audi S8 may boast 620 HP from Lambo-derived V10 {Autoblog}

Apr 15th 2010 7:24AM The output of the next S8 will jump from the outgoing model's 444 horsepower to somewhere north of 600 hp, with torque boosted from around 400 pound-feet to upwards of 550 lb-ft of twist. Although these spy shots don't provide a clear glimpse of the stylistic upgrades, expect a more chiseled front fascia, lower ride height and modified rear diffuser. Quad tailpipes hint at the 5.2-liter twin-turbo beast within, while massive stoppers are expected to be framed by 20- or 21-inch wheels.We're expecting the S8 to make its debut sometime later this year or early in 2011, with sales beginning in the middle of next year.

Toyota issues fresh 2010 Camry recall, reexamining Tacoma unintended acceleration as alleged death toll mounts {Autoblog}

Apr 13th 2010 3:19AM Living in Northern Canada amongst the 'monster' Ford 350 type drivers and justifying my purchase of a (North American made) Tacoma TRD O-R as my daily driver has been an almost regular exercise either at the pump (which i visit a lot less than most) or at the red light.The best is when a Ford, Dodge or Chevy lifer gets a ride in the Taco and realizes that it IS the ultimate Mid-Size! Their eyes widen, their wallets tingle and you can see their buyer allegiance start to shift.

Apr 3rd 2010 3:28AM IT WAS A SPRINGLIKE SUNDAY in the mountains above Salt Lake City, where a cluster of ski resorts occupy adjacent valleys of granite, thick forests and deep powder snow. 9 tips for saving money on a ski vacation {Gadling}

Apr 3rd 2010 1:07AM For many families, a grim economy means this year's winter vacation will be a more modest jaunt to a nearby ski destination rather than a flight to a warmer climate. Unfortuantely, even a simple ski trip can max out the credit card, unless you are armed with secrets for money-saving success.
