Bank of America Launches 'Mortgage to Lease Program' {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 24th 2012 10:53AM Doesn't this sound a bit familiar? Banks will now take the deed to the house and rent it back to the former homeowner. Sounds like the "massa" is going to allow the "slaves" to share crop the fields. The banks caused the problem to begin with, by lending money to ANYONE with a pulse. By becoming a renter instead of an owner, more of America's wealth is being transferred to big business. Remember the "dumbing down of America?" Well it looks like the banks are "Pooring down America" as well. It's a disgrace. Until people start fighting back, we are all lambs being led to the slaughter.

Crime in Mexico: Is Puerto Vallarta unsafe for travelers? {Gadling}

Mar 3rd 2012 1:26PM Sorry, Mexico holds no allure for me. If you want tropical beaches and jungles head for the Caribbean. I think it's a scary country. I know the United States is no picnic either but at least we have a justice system that takes care of our thugs. In Mexico, almost anything can be bought for a price. I'll stay in the good ole U.S.A.

Homeowners Association Forecloses on Vet for $340 {AOL Real Estate}

Jan 25th 2012 12:39PM I can see the point of an HOA. They were established in communities to establish a certain uniformity among property owners. No high grass, abandoned cars etc. This would ostensibly make the community nice for all. However, many of them have gone above an beyond and become Gestapo agents. I for one would rather live in a home next to a trailer park and know that I would not be forced into doing anything by some third party. The taking of an elderly man's paid for house, is an abomination. HOA's are a plague. I would never in a million years live in a community that had one.

Obama Loses 'Blue Heron Farm' Getaway to British Architect {AOL Real Estate}

Dec 8th 2011 8:39PM Try going over to Great Britain and buying property. You can't. We are one of a handful of countries letting "foreigners" buy our land. My God, we don't even own Rockefeller Plaza any more. Let's keep America for Americans. Money isn't everything. That being said, I think we ought to give back 5 or 6 states to the Native Americans.

Gambler Loses Big on Cruise Ship, Jumps to his Death {AOL Travel News}

Sep 21st 2010 10:30PM Hey, I live in Las Vegas and casinos are on every corner. I like to gamble for FUN! I take some money and go. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. The whole key is to LEAVE when you are ahead. People stick around because they think they are going to keep winning. You will lose if you think that way. Gambling is a diversion for me and a way to relax. If I had to spend rent or food money, I would never leave the house. One should never risk their lifestyle thinking they are going to hit the BIG one. The only ones who ever hit the BIG one are the casinos. They will always be the winner.

Las Vegas Is America's Most Stressed-Out City {Asylum}

Aug 20th 2010 11:43AM My husband accepted a teaching job out here 5 years ago. We are from the East Coast. The first year was fun. Now we are so sick of this place we can't wait to get back East. It is a wasteland out here. There is no where else to go unless you want to take the ONE highway to Los Angles 5 hours away. The casinos rip you off and health care is an abomination. All the doctors care about is if you are insured, then they sock it you your insurance company. There are 2 prices for a doctor or dentist visit, the INSURED price and the CASH price. While Vegas is so concerned about making sure every business is properly licensed to fill their dwindling coffers with money they should revamp the system that let's medical professionals get away with highway robbery on the insurance companies. No wonder our premiums keep going up!!!

Elliott Sadler Crash Exposes Pocono Safety Weaknesses {Fanhouse Motorsports Blog}

Aug 2nd 2010 2:56PM What's wrong with updating the safety features at Pocono? It is badly needed. As someone who knows the owners, I can tell you they make millions every race year. Money is not the problem here. They just don't want to spend it. Now I think they will be forced to.

The Drama Queen on 'Toddlers & Tiaras' (VIDEO) {AOL TV}

Jun 3rd 2010 12:03PM The parents aren't the only ones to blame here. What is wrong with the promoters of these "contests?" Nothing...they are in it for the money pure and simple. Another way greed is ruining this country. What's wrong with letting little children be little children and growing up normally? If they want to get involved in contests later on then it's up to them....but for God's sake let them have a childhood. BTW every parent thinks their child is beautiful. Doesn't mean they should be made up to look like an adult and put on a stage!

What's Up, Doc? It's Wabbit Season at Warner Bros. {ParentDish}

May 21st 2010 4:43PM Looney Tunes were fantastic. I grew up with them in movie theaters. They were irreverent, politically incorrect and absolutely hysterical!!
There isn't one group of people who got by unscathed. Today we spend so much time trying to BE politically correct that we have taken the joy and fun out of our differences. Can anyone NOT laugh at Speedy Gonzales or his friend Slowpoke Rodriguez? How about Pepe LePew? They even dealt with being overweight ala Porky Pig.
We need to stop taking ourselves so seriously and start laughing again and celebrating those differences which make all of us so delightfully different. I say bring back the originals they were classic comedy at it's best.

Offering Up a 'Zona Defense {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

May 7th 2010 5:08PM I agree with SIMZEE completely. These people are brought into this country by smugglers who are paid thousands to get them here. Sneaking into this country is ILLEGAL!! Then they take menial jobs, send dollars earned here back to their home country (which they should spend here to help OUR economy),have anchor babies by the dozen, expect us to educate them for free,get food stamps and medical. What the hell is wrong with American's when they see this happening under their noses and do nothing to stop it? It is way beyond the time to take a stand for OUR country. As for me and my family, I don't mind scrubbing my own toilet or mowing my own grass. If you want to come here by all means APPLY, wait in line and do it LEGALLY or don't come.
